1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy

PDF Maker ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed with a strict privacy-first, offline-first architecture. We respect your privacy and are committed to ensuring your personal documents and images remain strictly confidential and completely under your control.

        Zero Data Collection: PDF Maker does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or monitor any personal data, images, or documents generated through the app. All processing happens 100% locally on your device.
      

2. Permissions Requested & Their Purpose

PDF Maker only requests minimal permissions strictly necessary for its core functionalities:

Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used exclusively in real time when you tap "Take Photo" to photograph physical pages or documents for PDF creation. Captured photos are saved locally in the app's sandboxed cache and are never uploaded to any cloud server.
System Photo Picker: When selecting existing photos, the App uses the secure Android System Photo Picker. The App does NOT require or request broad media or external storage permissions (such as READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or READ_MEDIA_IMAGES). The App only receives temporary access to the specific images you explicitly select.
Wireless & Network Printing (android.permission.INTERNET): Used exclusively to interface with standard Android Print Spooler services to transmit print jobs to wireless/Wi-Fi printers on your local network. No analytics or tracking data is sent over the Internet.
Bluetooth Printing (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_SCAN): Used solely to discover, connect, and transmit documents to paired Bluetooth printers (such as portable receipt or ESC/POS printers). We use neverForLocation flags; we do NOT collect, access, or track your physical geolocation.

3. Document Storage & Sharing

All generated PDF files are saved directly in your device's private, sandboxed application directory (getApplicationDocumentsDirectory()).

Local Isolation: No other application can read your private document sandbox unless you explicitly export or share a document.
User-Initiated Sharing: When you use the "Share" or "Open With" feature, the file is handed over to the Android system share sheet at your explicit instruction.
Complete User Control: You can delete any generated PDF at any time directly from the History screen, which permanently removes the file from local storage.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

The App contains no third-party tracking SDKs, no advertising networks, and no external telemetry or profiling tools. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

5. Children's Privacy

PDF Maker is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly solicit or collect information from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
